19th January 2017, Manchester
26th January 2017, Cardiff

Do you want to help shape the future prison inspection criteria? How would you assess the treatment and conditions of prisoners if you were the Chief Inspector of Prisons?

In light of the changing prisons landscape, HM Inspectorate of Prisons (HMIP) is carrying out a development project to review and update its inspection methodology and Expectations (the criteria used to inspect) for adult male prisons. This is your opportunity to help to set Expectations which will be instrumental in encouraging positive outcomes for prisoners.

This is your chance to speak with HMIP. HM Chief Inspector of Prisons, Peter Clarke will attend the London and Manchester events, and HMIP Inspection Team Leader Cymru, Sean Sullivan will be at the Cardiff event.
