Home Office publishes crime prevention strategy

The Home Office has published its ‘Modern crime prevention strategy: March 2016’, that builds on new research, techniques and technology to update the way we think about crime prevention.

The strategy sets out the evidence on six drivers of crime: opportunity, character, effectiveness of the Criminal Justice System, profit, drugs, alcohol.

It also sets out what action the government, law enforcement, industry, voluntary sector and the public themselves can take.
