Have your say on education in prison

In September 2015, the Justice Secretary, Michael Gove MP, asked Dame Sally Coates to lead a review into the provision of education in prisons.

Now, as part of this work the government has announced its call for evidence and would welcome views from individuals and organisations with experience of education, training and skills in prisons. So if you have experience teaching in prisons, delivering creative or informal learning projects, or work or volunteer for a charity supporting prisoners to develop all kinds of skills this is your chance to highlight what works well and what could be improved upon.

And if you work with prisoners or ex-prisoners who have direct experience of education in prison, please help them to feed into this process.

Evidence can be submitted through a short online survey or by email to the secretariat at education_review@justice.gsi.gov.uk.

The deadline for submissions is 17:00 on 13 November.
